OUR MISSION
ATLANTIC OCEAN A SOURCE OF BEAUTY
The Atlantic Ocean off Connemara, is not just spectacularly beautiful, it is also the source of the world’s most nourishing natural skincare solutions. Nurtured by the purest marine waters in Europe, a perfect habitat to produce the nutrient- rich natural sea algae that goes into every Irish Organics skincare product.
It was important for us to focus on organic, hand-harvested, renewable seaweed using sustainable harvesting techniques to create our range. We spent many years researching and developing organic products, travelling across Europe, meeting marine algae experts and professional cosmetic formulators. We were delighted to discover that the precise species of seaweed that we had been researching flourished off the west coast of Ireland.
This unique range of beauty products is made in Ireland with Irish-sourced ingredients. Completely natural beauty products, packed with the benefits of seaweed, including vitamins A, B,C, D, and E, proteins, amino acids, and a rich collection of minerals, iron, calcium, and iodine.
We partnered these quality resources with the finest naturally active botanical ingredients to create a unique, high-performance range that really works.

FOUNDER
Irish Organics Natural Cosmetics was launched in Ireland in 2009 by our founder Deirdre Ui Chathmhaoil, a member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists, following many years of researching marine Algae and organic botanicals.
Inspired by a vision of a culture of care, we’ve created a company powered by principle from our business practices, production methods and the very nature of the company’s products themselves. Everything we do is in the interest of fostering well-being in the world, from our ecologically conscious methods of hand harvesting seaweed and sourcing botanical ingredients to our manufacturing processes.
Our products are intended to support people in their personal development, in maintaining, promoting and restoring their health and in their efforts to achieve a balanced lifestyle and well-being.
We stand proudly by the natural skin care products we sell, knowing that their purity and efficacy are helping people to nurture their health and beauty as well as inspiring them to recognise and foster beauty and well-being in others.
